Amusing

My son wants to be John Lloyd. Oo, si John Lloyd Cruz.

I didn't realize how "deep" his thing for him was until I heard him say "I can't be jealous! I can't be jealous! Ngayon lang!" It took me a while to realize that was an attempt to be Miggy in John Lloyd and Sarah Geronimo's latest film, You Changed My Life. The lines should have been "I don't get jealous! I can't be jealous! I've never been jealous! Ngayon lang," but I have to applaud my three year old for delivering it with such conviction.

I wonder how he'd react if we saw John Lloyd in person?

Here's a picture of my little John Lloyd with his Ate Joanna.

As I write this, he is reenacting "how to eat an Oreo", but using Cream-O and a glass of water for his props. Cute.

TL, you need to enroll your son to an acting workshop. I saw the movie and I was noisy in the theater commenting on how immature the character of Sarah is. My God, she's like what, 22, 23? What does she know about love aside from immaturity blah blahs.

And whoever their lighting director is, he needs to be fired. Now the characters are too dark, now they're too fair that a shade lighter would make them look like Redford White.

Finally, John Lloyd needs to have rest. He looks too old for his age already and he looks ugly in most of his photos.

There's this other incident with Ippo and Denver. They were in Megamall and saw this poster of You Changed My Life. Ippo pointed to it and said, "Daddy o, One More Chance." I was so sure its another John Lloyd movie. True enough, it is, pero si Bea pala, hindi si Sarah yung leading lady. Haha.

I don't know about acting. I think its a phase, I'm a little scared baka biglang mahiya yun in front of other people.

You know, I don't know if its a lighting problem or just the make up. I've been looking at pictures online and can't help but notice some mestizas looking like espasol because of awful choices in make up shade.

And yeah, John Lloyd has a tendency to look either old or tired. But I noticed that years ago. Maybe because he is naturally pale and has dark circles under his eyes.
