I am not pregnant. I just look like I'm about to pop. I've not had my period since November. After two negative pregnancy tests, I finally dragged myself to an OB. A transvaginal ultrasound confirmed that I have polycystic ovaries.
Doc gave me meds to induce the period and advised me to go on the pill to control my menstrual cycles. Aside from this, she wrote a prescription for Reductil.
Apparently, this condition is related to my obesity. I asked if there's anything I should not be doing. Doc was pretty blunt and said bawal kumain ng marami. And then she went on to prescribe thirty minutes of daily exercise and twenty percent reduction in my food intake. Sorry I asked.
Really, this is the hardest thing I've been asked to do.

Hi Genie. I think it was Weng who told me about your condition. You should go back to your OB and yes, we should take these things seriously. Tumatanda na tayo. Ahaha.
